I have more than 15 seasons of experiences teaching snowboarding and skiing around the world. And 20+ years shredding the snow! If you would like to experience the snow for the first time or learn more technical aspects of snowboarding, I can help you with it.

SNOWCOUNTRY INSTRUCTORS

I am teaching with Snowcountry Instructors ski-school, based in Echigo-Yuzawa, Niigata, Japan. We are a registered ski school in Japan.
We have access to several resorts to teach in, and many more outside of our area also. You can book your lessons directly through me or throught the ski school website and request for me. If you need more than one instructor, I can arrange it and choose the best colleague for your need.

With a bullet train station in the base of the resort this is an incredibly easy resort to reach.

HAKKAISAN

Very long main run accessed by ropeway. Good for experts and advanced.

ISHIUCHI

Good variety of runs for all levels.

IWAPPARA

The best beginner area to my opinion!

JOETSU KOKUSAI

Only 20 minutes away from Echigo-Yuzawa Spread out resort so there is lots to explore.

KAGURA & TASHIRO

Kagura has some good runs for intermediates and experts and amazing off-piste and backcountry.

KANDATSU KOGEN

Great Beginner slope, one good tree run, great park.

MAIKO

Great advanced terrain at the north bowl. Good beginner terrain at lower level.

NAKAZATO

Great for beginner skiers.

NOZAWA ONSEN

An hour away from Yuzawa over in Nagano Prefecture. It is a popular resort for all level.

ANYWHERE ELSE

Many others resorts possible such as Hakuba, Myoko, Madarao, Niseko and many more. These resorts require to travel and for some may need multiple Full Day lessons bookings. Contact me for planning.

KITEBOARD

I have more than 5 seasons of experiences teaching kiting around Europe. And 10+ years of flying them myself, I use and own all kinds of kites: inflatables, single skins, closed cells. From 5-6 knts to 40+ knts, the fun is here on the twintip or foil board.

I am not settle to a school yet in the summer, and keep on traveling and exploring differents spots and countries. Feel free to contact me if you are interrested to learn or improve your kiting skills.

Using the power of the wind to move through the snow! An amazing feeling of freedom that combing the best of snowsport (ski or snowboard) and kiteboarding! I have snowkite around the world for many years, from frozen rivers in Quebec to the alpines of Switzerland.

While I am still exploring and studying for good terrains to teach in Echigo-Yuzawa, there are several great spots in Japan, including Niigata and Nagano which are amazing to learn on. Contact me if you would love to learn snowkiting or kite-ski.
